Jolene Janacek is a mental health therapist and addiction counselor with extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of mental health and relationship challenges.
She has worked in counseling and human services since 2010, including 12 years advocating for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Over the past eight years, she has worked extensively with all individuals experiencing addiction, trauma, and mental health disorders.
Her professional experience includes hospital-based care, detoxification programs, inpatient treatment, and clinic based counseling. This diverse clinical background has given her a broad understanding of the ways trauma, addiction, neurodivergence, mental health conditions, and relationship dynamics can affect individuals and families.
Jolene is particularly passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals, children and adolescents, couples, and parents navigating complex emotional, behavioral, and relationship challenges. She also has a strong interest in helping individuals recover from narcissistic abuse, unhealthy relationships, attachment wounds, codependency, and long-standing communication difficulties.
Her counseling style is upbeat, friendly, compassionate, direct, and practical. She believes therapy should be a comfortable and collaborative experience where people can speak openly, feel understood, and work toward realistic solutions without judgment.
